Mi-Clos Studio is an award-winning independent studio specializing in story-driven strategy games with memorable visuals for PC, mobile and console. With 6 games developed in-house including Out There and Sigma Theory as well as 5 published games, the studio has grown from one to fifteen people in a few years. With the desire to bring together talents to create ever more unique and ambitious games, we continue our development.

To accompany us in this great adventure, we are recruiting our future Lead Narrative Designer F/M/NB!

Missions

In close collaboration with the Lead Game Designer, you are in charge of the game's narrative coherence. Your missions are the following:

Ensuring the narrative creation

  • Designing narrative systems taking into account the gameplay and the constraints defined by the Game Director 

  • Supervising all aspects of the narrative process

  • Being the guarantor of the Game Director's vision; 

  • Developing style and best practice guides for the writing team and those who work directly with them.

  • Ensuring the proper implementation and consistency of the game's narrative elements throughout development.


Management of your team

  • Supervising and animating the team: planning activities, monitoring, evaluation, guiding them towards the creation of quality and efficient narrative designs, etc.

  • Participating in the recruitment process 

Profile


  • You have at least 5 years of experience in an equivalent position; 

  • You are recognized for your writing skills;

  • You have a good knowledge of science fiction themes;

  • You are organized, rigorous and have a sense of priorities; 

  • You know how to manage unexpected events with serenity;

  • You have a good level of English;
