Mi-Clos Studio is an award-winning independent studio specializing in story-driven strategy games with memorable visuals for PC, mobile and console. With 6 games developed in-house including Out There and Sigma Theory as well as 5 published games, the studio has grown from one to fifteen people in a few years. With the desire to bring together talents to create ever more unique and ambitious games, we continue our development.
To accompany us in this great adventure, we are recruiting our future Game Designer F/M/NB!
In close collaboration with the Lead Game Designer, you will design the principles, rules and mechanics of the game in order to offer the best possible experience to players. Your mains missions are as follows:
- Designing the game mechanics by developing the system and setting rules
- Continuously balancing the systems (difficulty curves, player learning, pace…)
- Participating in the writing of the brief to describe the game mechanics and player behavior and, with the programmers, adjust the brief to answer the technical constraints
- Testing the game and reporting errors and malfunctions in mechanics, scenario, interface, graphics and/or techniques
